Contact sheets for my Diner/Eating project. I NEED EDITING HELP. There are so many of them I don't know which to pick...

Today I left the house for the first time since the 20th, barring a trip to the grocery store. I went to school to scan negatives, and it was a total waste of my fucking time. srsly. Now I am going back to school to try and do some natural dyes printing with food colouring!?

PS- If you like eating at cheap diners, holla @ me I need some more faces for this project. At least 5 more people need to be photographed.

SCRATCHES

I made a book for drawing class, its small and made out of used bond paper. Bond paper is kind of lame, shitty and flimsy but it works for my lame, shitty and flimsy drawings, so woohoo!

I have an obsession with Gothic cathedrals and patterns. To fuel this last one, Robyn lent me her copy of OVER&OVER by Mike Perry. It's amazing.

STABBED

I've started my diner dates for my photo project for the end of the year, my first volunteer was my friend Colin. Here are just a few from the roll I took.

necessity..

I just punched myself in the face from coughing really hard. Ow, what the fuck.

Last night, I met Robyn at Atwater and we went to one of the silliest things I will ever do, A stick and poke tattoo party. I ended up getting a Pac-man ghost from Dan at 12.30 with very little adrenaline involved, I was a big fat baby and whinged the whole way through. I'll post a picture when it isn't a swollen blob, ahaha. I have high hopes for it, I'm sure it'll be way cute.
Then at 2, totally baked, Robyn and I walked home to St-Henri, I "forgot" to put my hood up and now have the most terrible cold. Hopefully my tea will clear it away, because this is my last weekend as a human being, before I have no time to live and spend 15 hours at day at Concordia.
Oh man I am wading in a sea of kleenex!

STICKIN AROUND

this show has pretty much everything you could ever want, burp jokes, vomit jokes, poop jokes, a hispanic "maid", Dil, a kid who is pretty much my twin, stupid and amazingly clever kid humour, shitty technicolour backgrounds. It also criticizes modern life and all it's hang ups and the environmental problems that arise from technology! All in sweet little 10 minute packages of amazingness. It was the type of show that was crammed between real sitcoms on YTV. Kind of like Pingu, an another amazing end of 90's era kid's TV show that is part of some of my fondest childhood memories!

HOLY MACKEREL!!!
Seriously, that kid is ME.

HEAD RUSH

Time is slipping by enormously quickly. It's already the 5th week of the new semester and the work is piling up.

I've had a couple of great weekends, but this past one was a bit weird. I went on a last minute trip to the Laurentides to the camp where I work during the summer. I got to see some people I really love and nostalgia hit me real hard. I was planning on not going back this summer, staying in the city and enjoying Montreal during the summer. We all enjoyed some free food and winter activities. I did cross-country skiing for the first time, for 15 kilometers! then BROOM BALL aka most violent sport ever and then some snow-shoeing! Pretty much I'm still exhausted from my weekend. But possibly the most exhausting part was on the drive back. My friend was driving, we had just stopped for gas, and she turned to me to hand me her wallet when we hit a patch of ice and started zig-zagging through both lanes, and then spinning until we hit the snow bank, which luckily stopped us from landing in the ditch/hitting the trees. I think the luckiest part of all was that there wasn't another car on the road, other wise we would probably be dead. Fun times! Weird ending to the weekend, that night I went to sleep at 9.30.

Breakfast with Frances & Emily two weekends ago, the last time I saw Emmy before she left for france. It was a sad sunday morning after a good night.
